چکیده
Abstract Jakarta has become one of the cities with highest air pollution levels among emerging countries. In urban areas such as Jakarta, trees on roadside have potential for biomonitoring due to significant pollutants sourced from traffic. The bark provides information about its furrowed surface and collects atmospheric particle matter (PM). Therefore, structure 20 rain ( Samanea saman (Jacq.) Merr.) in four lots at Sudirman Central Business District (SCBD) were assessed. study aimed evaluate condition SCBD area based analysis concentrations important pollutant elements Pb (plumbum), Cd (cadmium), Cu (cuprum), Cr (chromium), Mn (manganese), Zn (zinc) bark. results showed thickness ranges 3-9 mm an average 6.13 mm. cuticula was gray-black color, phloem brownish, cambium layer very thin. Cu, Cr, Mn, detected elements. However, not found all these lots. Furthermore, is dominant trees, more than 40 ppm or 69% total, followed by Zn, Cr. Based result, through accumulated be used areas.

The development of a dense urban air pollution monitoring network
The importance of air pollution monitoring networks in urban areas is well known because of their miscellaneous applications. At the beginning of the 1990s, Berlin had more than 40 particulate matter monitoring stations, whereas, by 2013, there were only 12 stations. In this study, a new and free–of–charge methodology for the densifying of the PM10 monitoring network ...

In response to the facts that some Asian developing countries were experiencing the fastest rate of industrialisation and urbanisation, several international initiatives called for a better and ‘sustainable’ urban management. متن کاملChapter 17 Urban air pollution
Current scientific evidence, derived largely from studies in North America and Western Europe (NAWE), indicates that urban air pollution, which is derived largely from combustion sources, causes a spectrum of health effects ranging from eye irritation to death. Recent assessments suggest that the impacts on public health may be considerable. This evidence has increasingly been used by national ...
